When I was trying to decide what to wear, I caught sight of my Sound of Music dvd which made me think of Maria's outfit when leaving the Abbey. So I tried to recreate it to the best of my abilities. It's all pretty much earthy tones (olive green, brown, grey, black, light brown). This is definitely my favourite type of outfit to wear because not only is it comfortable for a long day of classes, it also reflects my style really well (plus it kept me warm).

I pulled this vintage London Fog coat out of our hall closet. My mom thrifted it years ago, but it just hung there in our closet, apart from the time I wore it to be a Russian spy for halloween (haha). I thought it'd be a nice change from my usual coats, but I don't think I'll be wearing it much. It's rather bulky and not that warm. Nonetheless, I think it went well with my outfit, and was a nice change.

I've got myself a busy weekend up ahead. Lots of meetings and lots of homework!

Ps. I've been featured on the American Apparel website for a second time. This time I'm wearing the Chambray Full Woven Skirt (actually, I'm wearing the skirt in this post as well).
