Snow and extremely cold weather basically sums up Toronto right now. I've been going to class in jeans (I know!), which is saying something since I hardly ever wear them, and big wool sweaters (even though I'm allergic to wool, I know!). I haven't worn a skirt all week and the one time I wore tights and shorts, I woke up too late and didn't have time to take an outfit photo. Luckily, I remembered I took these outfit photos last week. I'm not exactly fond of them...I was trying to go for some sort of effect, but my lack of sleep didn't help my attempts.

Nonetheless, I am wearing my new lipstick, which I promised to show, but I *promise* to take better photos next outfit post. I know bright pink lips are big this season, and although I'm not exactly big on trends, I don't understand why I wasn't painting my lips pink before. Anyways the colour is called Girl About Town by MAC. It's a creamy sort of lipstick, so it kind of doubles as lip chap, which is perfect for winter (and it lasts a really long time).

Anyways, I'm off bury myself in piles of readings.

smells like holiday spirit

Today is the last day of November, and despite having one more essay and two exams to go before I break for the winter break (woah 2 breaks in there), I'm already feeling the holiday spirit. Although I'm not the biggest fan of winter once we hit mid-January, up until then I LOVE it. All the store window displays, lights, Christmas trees, snow, skating, holiday specials on TV (you know those cheesy cartoon ones that you still watch even though you're technically too old so you probably shouldn't watch them, but still do) etc. We've started decorating our house for Christmas also, but even though I can't truly enjoy everything till I'm done school, I'm finding my own ways of inflicting some holiday cheer into an otherwise depressing school schedule. I uncovered these tights during the summer, but haven't worn them till now. The pairing of these tights and dress screams Christmas for me. All I need is some green and I'm good to go.

Hello all my lovely readers! This is a very quick post to say that tomorrow I will update with an outfit. I've had a hectic couple weeks, and the next three will also be quite challenging. Nonetheless, my posting will definitely increase over the next weeks. I took a look at my archives and noticed that last November I only had 3 posts (I think I've done better this year), but December was a much better month.

Anyways, here are a couple images that one of my friends took of me back in October(? I think).

My lack of posting shall be excused due to mid-term season and extensive amounts of reading. Nonetheless, my best friend Chris and I found time to take photos around our university campus today. My university campus is sectioned off into various colleges (sort of like a home base), so we took pictures around my college, but hopefully next week I can find some time to venture to the other colleges and take photos there.

Autumn is my favourite season. I am a complete and utter lover of school, and autumn has always been the season that I associate with university life. The old rustic buildings, the ivy creeping along the stone walls, the crunchy leaves scattered across the grass; it's an incredibly poetic season.
