and it's like catching snowflakes on my tongue

We've been getting more and more snow lately. I took these photos right before the snow got incredibly intense. I probably looked really weird standing in front of a tripod in the snow, running around trying to catch snowflakes on my tongue. Nonetheless, I had fun, and that's all that matters.

I've been hibernating inside for the past couple days revising for exams, so my outfits have been thrown together. This outfit was thrown together before I went to write one of my exams, and looking back, I find that when I'm stressed or tired, I create outfits that I like much more than when I'm rested. Weird, eh? I love every part of this sweater, apart from the fact that it's wool and I'm allergic to wool, which means that I kept scratching while writing my exam. BUT it's so warm and cozy and the perfect thing to wear on a snowy winter's day, that I'm rather willing to suffer the itching.

Anyways, I'm off to revise some more. One more exam and I'll be free to enjoy my holidays (and that means commenting back on everyone's blogs, I can't wait).

bonjour!

I didn't realize that wearing a beret would cause so many remarks. I wear hats to school all the time, but I've never received such a response like when I wore my beret. Some were good, some bad, and some were simply "wow, you're so French", yet, I don't know whether people meant it in a good way or bad. Nonetheless, I positively adore this beret, and I do enjoy this touch of French to my wardrobe.

I'm wearing a vintage blazer/jacket and scarf, Marciano dress, unknown tights, Holt Renfrew beret, and Aldo shoes.

i want your revenge

I've always wanted to make my photos black and white but with a tinge of colour, and I finally had my opportunity. This outfit is essentially all black with the sweater being a dark brown colour. This outfit makes me feel like a Lady Gaga song for some odd reason; looking at it, I don't see anything that would make me think Lady Gaga, but oddly I kept getting a strange Gaga vibe when I wore it.
Ever since I started university I've been trying to save my money, which means that when shopping for clothes I only buy items that can be worn many times and in different ways. This AA dress fits those requirements perfectly. I've been wearing it way too much lately, but I'm glad that I spent my money so wisely.

Hope you're all enjoying yourselves this weekend.

Ps. I was featured on the Fashion My Legs blog run by the lovely Oringina.

snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes

There are only 4 more days left until Christmas. I can hardly believe it. I went out for a little walk today and it started snowing, yet there wasn't much accumulation of snow on the ground and it made me realize that unless we have a white Christmas it won't really feel like the holidays.
One of my favourite parts of winter is taking walks when it's lightly snowing and trying to catch snowflakes on my tongue. It's one of those little things from my childhood that I still enjoy doing, after all, it's fun to bring out the inner child in all of us sometimes.
I've been wanting a fur coat for the longest time, and today I found one buried within a closet in my house. I love this coat. It's absolutely perfect and I will definitely get a lot of wear out of it this winter.

Have a wonderful day everyone, and if you've got snow where you are then please enjoy it because all I can do right now is wish for some.

Ps. There are a lot of photos today, just thought I'd warn everyone. :)

tell me about it, STUD.

Today was spent completing some last minute Christmas shopping, making Christmas cards, watching movies, and I still have many gifts to wrap.
I don't usually wear pants, hardly ever if I can help it, but these Romeo and Juliet Couture pants caught my eye and at first I didn't bother trying them on. Yet, I ended up going back to the store and once I tried them on I had to buy them. I've been lusting over the American Apparel Disco Pants for ages now, but they are quite expensive, and buying them wouldn't be worth it considering that I wouldn't wear them enough to make up for the cost. Hence, these pants were the perfect compromise. (The studding was definitely one of my favourite parts). The pants greatly remind me of Sandy's outfit at end of Grease.

Have a good weekend everyone, I'm off to go wrap lots of gifts.
