magnolia inspired

For those who read my blog regularly, you'll know that I'm not a fan of pants. Yet, lately I've been uncovering lots of coloured pants, something that makes me rather happy and excited. Since starting university, I don't shop much, so instead I've been attempting to wear what I have. This has led to new discoveries (usually in my mom's closet), like these pink Marc Jacobs cargo pants. If I have to wear pants, then these are definitely a pair I'll wear, although I never expected I'd be wearing cargo pants, although if you give me MJ I'll wear anything. They are a bit loose around the legs, and have some great pockets throughout (I suppose that's what gives them the cargo pant name). The lace shirt is vintage...a gift I think.

This outfit was inspired my my neighbour's magnolia tree; definitely one of my favourite trees. So beautiful in all its pink and white glory.

My elementary school used to have used toy and book sales. I remember I saw her and bought her for 5 cents. When I put on my belt and shoes today I saw her on my dresser, and decided to take her out while I took my pictures.

Marc Jacobs pants. Vintage shirt. Flats from a boutique in Lithuania. Jewelry are gifts/mom's. Mouse pin is from a blogger exchange.
