I feel like I'm in a clothing rut, or more like I have plenty of outfit ideas in mind, but I'm saving them for when school starts, so right now I'm just wearing random things that I pull out of my closet. I spend way too long trying to make things work, and end up not really liking what I come up with. Have any of you been in a clothing rut recently?

On the other hand, I quite like this outfit, or at least I like all the pieces that I'm wearing. It was too hot too enjoy it though. I've no idea where this heat is coming from, but it's ruining my ability to appreciate outfits that I wear. Anyways, this skirt is definitely one of my favourite summer pieces in my closet. I've had it for years (5 maybe?) but I'm finding that the colours in the design are quite current with today's trends (mint green, lilac).
