For most of elementary school and for the first half of ninth grade I took Lithuanian Folk Dancing. I ended up stopping because it stopped being fun and I had some issues with some of the actions of some of the people in the group. Anyways, every four years there was a Lithuanian Folk Dancing Festival that would take place in a different part of the world each time, and all the different Lithuanian folk dancing groups would get together to put on a big show. When we went to Chicago for the festival one year, we were given these skirts (for the girls). We had certain uniforms to wear during the big dress rehearsals so we wouldn't get mixed up with other groups. I pulled this skirt out today and decided to style it. After all, even though I don't dance anymore, the skirt is rather pretty.
