Life works in funny ways sometimes. The other day at work I was daydreaming about how lovely it would be to own a white dress with a blue satin sash (just like in the
Sound of Music song). That night when I got home I found a package awaiting me, and inside...a dress courtesy of
Yumi Direct. True, it may not be all white and the sash may not be satin, but it is a wonderful compromise. To be honest, I prefer it to a plain white dress. The blue roses scattered all over with the layering of blue and white are simply beautiful.
I've worn this dress two days in a row already; yesterday to a social at my university and dinner with a friend, and today to Niagara Falls.
