Yesterday I went to the Distillery District in Old Town Toronto. I'd never been there before, but was pleasantly surprised upon seeing how lovely it was. It felt like a was strolling somewhere in Europe. The streets were made out of cobblestones and lined with art and jewelry shops, outdoor cafes and restaurants. It's such an incredible place. Best of all were all the flowers that decorated every corner. I bet the place would look like a Christmas card during the winter. I'm definitely going to make a stop there when the chilly winds come visit.
My friend and I had coffee and a chocolate fudge cake at a chocolate store, followed by lunch at a pub. I had a delicious portobello sandwich. Yum! Then we just strolled around taking pictures. If any of you visit Toronto then I highly recommend making a stop there, and if you live in Toronto, GO! NOW!
Ps. On the way back to the Subway station I saw Katie Holmes, her daughter Suri, stepdaughter Isabella, and some other family or friends. Very cool.
