it's your time to shine

As I mentioned in my post yesterday, I received two awards, and I'm supposed to pass them along to some other bloggers, as well as noting 10 things about myself.

1. I have a coffee addiction.

2. I enjoy watching very old films with terrible special effects.

3. I can get very paranoid at the smallest things.

4. My favourite number is 3, and the most special days in my life all contain the number 3 or a multiple of 3.

5. I used to wait for my Hogwarts letter to arrive, but it never did. I still think it got lost in the mail, or the owl got intercepted.

6. I don't believe in love at first sight, and in general, I'm a pessimist when it comes to love.

7. I love post-it notes. I stick them EVERYWHERE.

8. Old things are wonderful. Old books, old clothes, old jewelry, old bags, old furniture; old things simply have lots of character and I love it.

9. My little secret: I could watch The Lizzie McGuire Movie over and over. I think it is the most entertaining movie ever. It always puts me in a good mood.

10. When I was 8, I wanted to be a ninja.

I tried to think up the most random things about myself so it would vary from other posts that I've had that were similar to this.

I feel that these bloggers all deserve the awards for their wonderful blogs. I feel that it's time to mention that I plan to reveal my own award in the next week or so. It's gonna be a bit different than regular awards but you'll all have to wait and see it.

Today I discovered the most spectacular fabric in my basement and it was perfectly ready to be made into a skirt. I simply had to add an elastic band and sew two seams together. It's such a gorgeous print, yet so bold. I hope i conjure an outfit with it soon, so you can all see it.

we're the breakfast club

I had an amazing weekend that was filled with laughter, late night walks, games, lots of DDR, beautiful architecture, late night movies, and most importantly, new friends. My commuter orientation was very successful and I met some truly lovely people whom I hope to see in the future. This weekend definitely made me even more excited for the start of university. It felt strange to be going to university orientation when it seems it was only yesterday when I was attending my grade 9 orientation. Anyways, I had a wonderful weekend, and to top it all off, I went out for coffee with one of my friends when I got back from university, and this is what I wore. My weekend outfits are not blog worthy, as I dressed down a bit.

Ps. I received two lovely awards from Nicola Ticola Ponders. I'm supposed to say 10 things about myself and give the award to some other amazing bloggers. Instead of doing it today I will do it tomorrow.

countdown time...4 3 2 1

Hello everybody. So I just finished my first exam today and now I have three left. :) My school system might be different from those who live in the states, so it's basically two semesters with four courses each. So each semester you only have 4 classes, but they're different each semester, so you end up taking 8 classes each year, although in senior year you only have to take 6 but it's recommended to take more, I took 7. Anyways, that's just me rambling. I've been living in oversized shirts and leggings the past couple of days due to my intense exam revision, therefore, no outfit post and my ability to comment on blogs has diminished. So instead I'll post the lovely awards I received. I was so honored to receive them, especially since I got them both during the same post. Thank you so much :)

10 Honest Things About Myself:

1. I have an addiction to sticky tabs and highlighters. So my notes are always colour coded and just really bright.

2. I am starting my first year of university in September and although I am really excited, I am also really scared for what is to come.

3. I would adore to study a semester abroad in Europe, especially England, France or Switzerland.

4. I don't believe in love at first sight, although I'm a hopeless romantic.

5. Although I have read all the Twilight books, own one, I've seen the movies and even contemplated going to the midnight book release for the last book, I hate Twilight and when people say it's better than Harry Potter, I will whole heartedly defend Harry Potter.

6. I think I was born in the wrong Era.

7. I collect napkins, clean ones that is.

8. I have an addiction to Pellegrino.

9. I have an unhealthy obsession with Gilmore Girls, Gossip Girl and Friends.

10. When something emotional occurs in my life I will imagine a certain song playing during the moment, so it feels as if I am in a movie.
