midnight dreams

First, I'd like to apologize for the lack of updates. I actually had a bunch of posts planned but then my laptop crashed, so right now I have a temporary one until I get a new laptop. Fortunately, my hard drive was alright so I still have all my info. If anybody has any recommendations for laptops that would be a great help.

Second, I have acquired myself a Flickr account. If you have an account yourself then feel free to add me as a contact and I'll add you as well.

Third, I was recently contacted by Benetton to let you all know about Benetton's IT'S:MY:TIME global casting competition. 25 Lucky individuals will get the chance to become the next face of Benetton. It's an amazing opportunity and I hope you all take the chance to participate. All you need to do is to visit the website, and create a lookbook (all info on site).

Finally, although I mentioned how I thought spring was coming, I have to take that back because we had a huge snowfall. All my spring dreams were shattered, yet the snowfall did end up inspiring a photoshoot. The rest of the images from this set are on my Flickr account.

Have great day!

with sepia-toned loving

I took a study break today and did a little photoshoot. I went for a sort of grungy/western/hippy look. The hair and makeup was inspired from the new Burberry ad's with Emma Watson, although I didn't go that heavy on the eye makeup. I love how the photos turned out. I took so many and all of them but a couple turned out really well. It was so hard to pick which ones to post. Anyways, I hope you enjoy all of them!

Hope you're all having a lovely weekend.

A merry little ghost it is, Dancing gayly by itself, On the flowery counterpane, Like a tricksy household elf

The weather in Toronto today was terrible. It was hot, humid and in the middle of the day it started pouring rain. The streets near Lake Ontario were flooded and many home owners experienced floods in their houses. At work the hallways got flooded, and I ended up soaked trying to help get the water out. By the time I got home, the rain had gone, but a horrid sight was left. Tree branches were lying about, huge puddles of water revealed a couple dry spots, cars were submerged up to the top of their wheels in water, flowers were lying dead as they couldn't stand the heavy pounding of the rain. In general it was pretty horrible, and tonight there are supposed to be more thunderstorms. I like rain, but this is just getting out of control.

Since there was no rain when I got home, and my house was one of the lucky ones to not get a flood or have our whole yard trashed, I decided to make use of one of the old vintage night gowns I have lying around in my basement. This little photoshoot is meant to exemplify a spirit flying around. I've always like ghost stories, and haunted houses, and I thought that this type of photoshoot would do well in representing the spirits that some believe to roam around. I don't know how I feel about spirits myself, but the whole general idea is superbly entrancing to me. I picked out my favourites from the photoshoot, the ones I personally believe represent the whole mystic notion of spirits and ghosts the best.

On other news, I really want to learn French. I gave up French in high school because it was rather dull due to the teaching method. I think that learning grammar and such should come after one can actually pronounce words correctly. I mean the reason little kids learn languages easily is because they learn from listening and hearing, not conjugating verbs. Therefore, I'm going to try and self teach myself to learn French. I've always enjoyed French programming, so I could listen and watch. I know quite a bit of words, so it's only learning to pick up on the words I don't know, and then learning their definition. Tips would be appreciated.

i fall in love and complicate things

Sorry for my lack of update lately, I have so much school work to get through, it's hard to keep up with the blog. It's either blog or homework, and since I want to keep my marks up, I choose homework, although I wish I could be choosing blog. Sorry for the rambling. So these pictures are from yesterday, today's picture (yes only one) will be up tomorrow. I went shopping today with my best friend in order to relax from all the school work. Unfortunately, being on a budget I only bought an oversized tee from Forever 21 for $9. I'm only buying staples right now, things that I know I'll wear over and over again.

Anyways, yesterday was a really nice day, and since I do love my apple tree, I thought it would be nice to do a little photoshoot, although I so tired while taking the pictures they didn't turn out quite as well as I hoped they would. Hope you all still enjoy them.

.

The one thing I love more than Magnolias or Cherry Blossoms is apple tree's, especially when they're in bloom. My tree isn't in full bloom yet, but I'm predicting it will be over the next couple of days.
I managed to get a good picture of a bird who lived in our evergreen tree the last couple weeks. She had two little birdies that are utterly adorable. Unfortunately, they flew away, and I haven't seen them for the last couple of days.

I hope you're all enjoying spring. As of today there are only 24 days of classes left, + 4 days of exams, and I'm done high school. Counting weekends, and exams, till my actual graduation day there are 45 days. I'm actually kind of getting sad...kind of.

Reminder: tomorrow is mother's day. :)

you want a peice of me?

First off, thank you so much to everyone who reads this blog and likes it. I appreciate it so much. Your support means everything to me. :)

Second, to the anonymous poster who has decided to write rude comments on my previous post, you have serious issues. I don't see you posting your pictures on the Internet, and the fact that you have to write everything anonymously just shows how insecure you are. Before you start criticising my blog and the way I dress and look, you should go and look at yourself. I'm not the one who needs to get a life, you are, especially if you spend your time writing rude comments on a blog that you apparently don't like. If you need to put others down to make yourself feel better, then that's not my fault. Just because I dress different and not like an Abercrombie or Hollister clone doesn't mean you have to act like an idiot. If you don't like my blog, then DON'T READ IT!!!!
Oh, and PS. relle is not a word. It's spelt REALLY. Learn to spell before you go around being an ass.

No new outfit posts, but I did do a little photoshoot today. I was so tired that only one picture actually came out really well. Enjoy!
I decided to drop my shoe right when the camera took the picture, so it looks like my shoe is resting on my leg, but it's actually falling.
