lets run through fields together

So I guess I keep lying to you all and telling you I will have amazing updates, but than I don't. Well, after this week to come, I have spring break, and I will be able to update a lot. Musical finished last night, so today I've been sifting through my piles of homework. Senior year is really stressful, and if this blog wasn't focused on fashion I would complain a lot. Anyways, I decided to go on the Forever 21 website in an attempts to cheer me up. I love going to their shop by outfit page because I find a lot of inspiration from the way they put outfits together, so here are some outfits I liked a lot:

I love the first two outfits because of the white dresses that look so flowy and airy. They remind me of the 70's and the whole hippy-Esq era, especially because of the fringe bag and the gladiator shoes. The third outfit is put together nicely by the suspenders. After doing Guys and Dolls for my school musical I've found that suspenders are amazing. The last outfit is pretty nice too, apart from the denim jacket which I don't like, but the rest is really nice.
I have developed an obsession with folkloric styled clothing. I found an editorial in an old Fashion magazine (at least I think it was Fashion) and it was called Folktales. It's an amazing spread, and the clothes are divine. It made me feel like moving to a different country and living in a small village where I could work in a little flower shop, and than run around in fields picking wild flowers. Therefore, I'm looking forward to tearing apart my closet and looking for clothes that remind me of folktales.
The other day my mom handed me a bag of old magazines from 2008. There was a Vogue, some copies Fashion magazine, and I think a copy of Elle. I've yet to look through the magazines, as I read them all cover to cover. I've actually developed a taste for reading old issues. I think it's much more exciting to look at old magazines and discover trends that I never knew existed a year or a couple years ago. On the topic of magazines, Michelle Obama is on the cover of the March 2009 issue of Vogue, so I must remind myself to go and purchase a copy.
Now I must leave you all as I go and study for a test. But here is a picture for you all to enjoy:
