"yes sir, i quite agree...good use of colour and oh, the concept is divine"

Today was extremely hectic, but an overall good day. My best friend and I started our day off with a quick trip to the mall to pick up some heels that were being fixed, and than we headed down to the cinema to see Confessions of a Shopaholic, a very funny and entertaining movie. After that, we went down to the Art Gallery of Ontario where we spent time looking at numerous lovely paintings. I have to say that I'm not very much into modern art, I don't understand it, and it's completely not my style, therefore, I was kind of disappointed that there was so much of it in the gallery. I prefer works of art depicting landscapes, and people that have been drawn from Shakespear's plays. It was fun to look at the works of art, but somehow my friend and I found the HUGE spiraling staircase the best form of artistic expression. It was terrible to climb up it, but really spectacular at the same time.

Only four days left of spring break!

Here is the staircase that we climbed. It was really hard to take a picture, but it's extraordinary in real life.

I think I should mention that when we got to the top of this staircase, we were really dizzy and we felt sick to our stomachs. But right at the top we saw a huge wax head that was stretched out. WE felt as if we were hallucinating. Unfortunately, I couldn't take a picture, but if I ever find a picture of the head, I'll be sure to post. It was really really strange.
